I am a Lecturer in Political Philosophy at the department of Politics, Philosophy and Religion of the University of Lancaster. I am also carrying out a British Academy Postdoctoral Fellowship which I started at MANCEPT, the Centre for Political Theory of the University of Manchester, in October 2022, with a project on care and relational equality.

My research interests are at the intersection between moral, legal, political and feminist philosophy with a particular focus on theories of equality, the philosophy of vulnerability, the ethics and politics of care and the philosophy of criminal punishment.

Previously, I was a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Institute of Philosophy of the University of Hamburg. In 2019, I received my PhD at the Dickson Poon School of Law of King’s College London, where I also did an MA in Philosophy. I hold a BA in Philosophy from the University of Pavia.
